Our Story
The Owner, Healer, and Performer
My name is Dayshaun Jackson, and my Healer name is Gogo Mkhuluqoma.
I am the owner of Umoquela - Place of Healing and I am a traditional healer from the Atacamé, Xinkan, Chachapoya, Apache, Cherokee, Yaqui, Zulu, and Xhosa tribes and I have been a traditional healer for 11 years. I've spent years learning from indigenous elders and other traditional healers the ways of shamanism, medicinal plants and practices, languages, the cultures themselves, and their cultural traditions and ceremonies from around the world.
Now I share those teachings, healing traditions, languages, and their cultures with the world.
Healing with indigenous traditions
Our services and products are done and made in a ceremonial way helping to heal those who need healing. Our products are made by hand using traditional and ancient Atacamé, Native American and African techniques in order to make all pottery, beadwork, and charms. All services are done with indigenous traditions and practices.
