About the event
What you'll learn:
In this workshop you will learn how to make corrugated pottery that our ancestors used to create pottery using the corrugated technique. You will also learn how to use a puki and gourd scraper. You will also learn how to do stone smoothing, burnishing, and edge smoothing.
What is including:
You'll get a 6-week workshop with all firings, 25lbs to 50lbs of clay, and buckskin scrap included. It will be 2 to 3 hours a day Monday and Friday with Saturday being the firings.
What you'll bring:
You will need to bring your own gourd scraper, puki, and pottery tools which you can buy online here:
