About the event
What you'll learn:
In this workshop you will learn the ancient pottery techniques that our ancestors used to create pottery, from coiling to using pigments and slips. You will also learn how to use a puki, gourd scraper, and stones in your work. You will also learn how to do stone smoothing, burnishing, edge smoothing and paddling.
What is including:
You'll get a 6-week workshop with all firings, 25lbs to 50lbs of clay, pigments, and buckskin scrap included. It will be 2 to 3 hours a day Monday and Friday with Saturday being the firings.
What you'll bring:
You will need to bring your own gourd scraper, puki, paddle, paint brushes, pottery tools, and pottery rollers with or without designs/patterns (optional) which you can buy online here:

This ticket is for 6-weeks of classes on Mondays and Fridays for 2 hours each day.
